For example, the model code LT refers to at least two different styles of quad. Recalls: All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) May 3, 2005Only select model year Polaris ATVs are part of this recall. The Sportsman ATV model and serial number identification decal is located on the right front side of the front radiator covering. The Scrambler 500 ATV model and serial number identification decal is located on top of the front cab cover. The VIN, or serial number is permanently stamped into the left frame rail behind the left front wheel of all Polaris ATVs.April 29, 2005The recall includes Suzuki 2005 model year Eiger and Vinson ATVs. Only Model LT-A400FK5 ATVs with ending VIN from 57104462 through 57105157, Model LT-F400FK5 ATVs with ending VIN from 57103131 through 57103730, and Model LT-A500FK5 ATVs with ending VIN from 57105616 through 57106276 are included in the recall. (Note: not all VINs within the above ranges are affected.) The VIN is stamped on the ATV frame and can be seen by looking between the left rear tire and fender.

The 2001 and 2002 ATVs are either blue and white or black and white; the 2003 ATVs are either blue and white, black and red, or black with blue flame graphics; and the 2004 ATVs are either blue and white or red and white. April 13, 2005Model year 2005 PW80 and TTR90 Off-Road Motorcycles and Grizzly 125 ATVs. These 2005 model year ATVs have “Grizzly 125” written on both sides of the bodywork. March 24, 2005The recalled includes 2005 Arctic Cat 500 and 650 FIS, and 400 and 500 TBX model ATVs.

Suzuki King Quad 700 Hunting

The FIS models affected by this recall have the vehicle identification number (VIN) ranges of 4UF05ATV15T226237 through 4UF05ATV15T242874, and 4UF05ATV55T246510 through 4UF05ATV55T248189. The TBX models have VIN ranges of 4UF05ATV15T221345 through 4UF05ATV15T223967, and 4UF05ATVX5T251024 through 4UF05ATV55T251397. The VIN is located on the left rear frame tube of the vehicle near the upper shock mount. March 16, 2005Suzuki 2004-2005 model year LT-A500F Vinson, Suzuki 2004-2005 model year LT-F500F Vinson, and Suzuki 2005 model year LT-A700X KingQuad ATVs.

Suzuki Vinson and KingQuad ATVs are adult-size ATVs designed for use by riders age 16 and older. Suzuki dealers sold these ATVs nationwide between July 2003 and February 2005. These ATVs are available in yellow, green, red or camouflage and have the model name (Vinson or KingQuad) on the side of the fuel tank. March 14, 2005The recalled Kawasaki ATVs include the Prairie™ KVF700-D1 4x4 model, which were manufactured between June 2004 and February 2005. February 28, 2005The recalled Kawasaki ATVs include the Brute Force™ 750 4x4i model, which was manufactured between April 26, 2004 and September 10, 2004. The ATVs come in red, green, yellow or camouflage, and have the words 'Kawasaki' and 'Brute Force' printed on each side of the vehicle's fuel tank.
