Antoine Clamaran Take Off Original Mix Vs Remix

Being a fan of Chicago hard house, it struck me as extremely odd that a French 'producer' would create a song that sounded exactly the same as Robert Armani's 'Ambulance' (released in 1991). It is one thing to sample, but another thing to simply remaster an artist's work and then claim it as your own. Robert Armani should be getting royalties, not Antoine Clamaran. Although Clamaran does cite 'Ambulance,' the citation is vague about just how much of Armani's song was actually used. 'Take Off' sounds almost exactly like 'Ambulance.' I can't find it ethical for Clamaran to hold himself out as the predominant producer of this work. Cdz asgard rpg maker download.

Listeners who are not familiar with Armani's work will not read the fine print nor understand Clamaran's excessive use of Armani's 'Ambulance.' In summary, this record deserves a 1/5, not so much for the merits of the music, but because it is so clearly mislabeled. Clamaran should have titled the song 'Rip Off' instead. When artists from Detroit and Chicago talk about second rate European producers stealing their music, it's phonies like Clamaran they are referring to.

Review: Capture the magic of the summer with this feisty four-tracker on Toolroom. Emphasising the island's penchant for classic house vibes, each of the cuts here roll with a sprightly organic groove that will work any time of the day, on the beach or indeed the club. Mark's 'Alright' nods a heavy head to 25 years of house music. Rizardo's 'Caracoles' is a percussive fusion of international styles and flavours. Campbell's 'Something Special' is a more subdued warm up moment. Prok & Fitch finish the package with an outstanding remix of Todd Terry's classic 'Bounce To The Beat'.

Review: Todd Terry is an ultimate house legend with an army of international supporters. He continues to be a prolific producer, a constantly touring DJ, and a remixer fresh off the back of releasing a triple CD album featuring selected tracks from his illustrious career. Highlights include a string of smash hits and club rocking remixes from 'Something Going On' to the Jungle Brothers classic 'I'll House You'. The most successful of these being his remix of Everything But The Girls 'Missing' which was #1in several countries and sold over 3 million copies globally. Kenny Dope is as big a star whose remixes and productions are always massive sellers to loyal house fans around the world, as well as constantly DJing to sell-out crowds.” Massive for me, playing in the clubs and on the radio' Jim Shaft Ryan (Miss Moneypenny’s), '10 out of 10, will be hammering this all summer - playing as our first record at the opening party of Elvinos on Friday.
